Faith Of A Mustard Seed

Faith of a mustard seed
I'm a big believer of faith and Matthew 17:20 "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed nothing will be impossible for you". I'm always telling people you must have faith and believe, but recently I haven't had much faith. I haven't left God but I have left church. I still read my Bible and just finished Joel Osteens' It's your time book and am currently reading his daily devotion book. Now that my girlfriend has had our daughter, we have been talking about going to church. I have a problem with church right now because where I use to live if you didn't show up for church someone would check on you to make sure everything is alright. Here the church i joined is smaller than my old one and I haven't gone in a few months but no one has bothered to call or come by or write to see if I was alright which doesn't set right with me. To me if the church was as caring as they say they were they would attempt to make contact. I was going to write a hub series with daily scripture and prayer but decided not to but a fan of mine wrote me and my gf talked with me and I decided I am going to write that series. I pray that God gives me the wisdom to write the right daily scripture and prayer and it touches someone sometime. I know I could find a new Baptist church around my area but without transportation it's hard to get around and my old church is just a 10 minute walk away. I pray God will lead me to the right church for my family and me. Remember without faith you have nothing.

Ace,
Congrates on the new bundle of joy.
Ace, we've all had some sort of problem with church, and it was good that at your old church people would call to check on you. But think about this, in your new smaller church maybe there are others who miss some Sundays, and you could be a help to the ministry, and to the people, if you were there, and you would call those who were not. Like the title of the book says, It's your time!!!!
God Bless
